Breaking the Ground - 18 June 2023

Please join us as we break ground on Cheltenham’s new indoor sports hall and Real Tennis Court.

Sunday, 18 June 2023 from 2pm to 5pm

At The Cheltenham Recreation Club, 60—74 The Crescent

Order of events:

• Presentation from the design team followed by Q&A

• Ceremonial breaking of the ground, with special guests Philip Ruddock (Mayor of Hornsby) and Alistair Curley (President of the Australian Real Tennis Association)

• Real Tennis demo – your chance to give it a try (with prizes)

Tennis, croquet and lawn bowls will all be open for visitors to play, Molly’s Pavilion Café will be serving food, and the bar will be open all afternoon.

On display will be architectural plans, real tennis equipment, videos and more.
